New invention by Prince Piero Ginori Conti could take us... anywhere?

Geothermal energy invented!

Piero Ginori Konti, prince of Kerbignano, has made an incredible discovery. By drilling into the ground, be it Kerbin, the Mun or.. yes, even Duna - it's possible to take geothermal energy from the ground and store it in tanks. Scientists are working around the clock to figure out how to extract this "steam" from the tanks to the engines.

According to our sources, there has been some success in extracting the steam - known as Kethane - into pure fuel.

This will - without doubt - speed up the work for the "Blitz" mission, where pictures will be taken of the dark side of the Mun. Reports are coming in that Capt. Jebediah will bring a Kethane scanner for the trip.

The president of the United States of Kerbalism has just announced that USK will send several TV Satellites into space.
This historic even will be narrated by Walter Kronkite himself, where he'll be narrating from the Kerbal of Liberty.

Rumors regarding a new flight

Are we going to see close up photos of the Mun?

According to our "insiders", talks have been going on about a mission called "Blitz", which should include capt. Jebediah Kerman and a visit to the Mun.

As we all know, landing on the Mun would not be possible at the current time, since we don't have invented all the necessary parts of the rocket, but a possible orbit around it is not too far out there. It's of course a high risk mission.

The "Blitz" mission is - according to our sources - a mission to take photographs of the dark side of the Mun.
A newspaper reporter captured this picture when Raven landed safely
after orbiting Kerbin for 3 days.

Our first liftoff

The day is here

The clock is ticking..
Blood pressure is rising..
Nervous peers are watching the countdown..

...6 - 5 - 4 - "Main engines on" - 1

-Liftoff!-

Raven is taking kerbal to where no kerbal has ever been.... Space!

The birth of Hacktech's Space-program

The birth of a space-program

There have been rumors that a secret space-program was in the making, and there just might be some truth in those rumors.

Today was the birth of Hacktech's Space-program, which will take kerbal to new heights, to orbit - and they might even land a man on the moon one day.
